19 March, 2025<p>On 20 March 2025, global trade unions and representatives of the German government will formally announce the creation of the Human Rights Due Diligence Competence Centre, set to open later this year. The Centre will support trade unions in leveraging national and EU legislation &ndash; like the German Act on Corporate Due Diligence Obligations in Supply Chains and EU&rsquo;s Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD) &ndash; to secure workers&rsquo; rights across global value chains and corporate operations.</p>

IndustriALL calls on the interim government of Bangladesh to uphold the spirit of the Roadmap

13 March, 2025<p>This coming Monday, the ILO Governing Body will discuss the latest progress report submitted by the Government of Bangladesh on the implementation of the Roadmap which the government drafted following a complaint made to the ILO in 2019 on the non-observance of Conventions 81, 87 and 98. Yet again, the progress report focuses heavily on statistics that do not necessarily reflect positive changes in the country vis-à-vis labour rights.</p>
